My role involved the delivery of excellent operational performance of the circa 27 national surveyors and a hub team and included the ongoing development of bespoke software and Management Information systems to aid visibility and efficiency.I led in the development and management of personnel and new business, as well as assuring fulfillment of service level agreements, best practice and technical excellence. I also handled a case load of around 100 – 200 Subsidence claims.Before taking this role, I Project Managed the development of software and processes for the launch of this new product and am proud that my team won the Insurance Times Claims Management Team of the Year 2011 and a Claims Innovation Award in 2012 for Claims Team of the Year for entries resolving around the success of this business model.These awards have recognised that we offered an intelligent desktop managed solution to Subsidence claims handling, assuring unbeatable service delivery and pro-active claims management, without sacrificing technical quality. I also led the development of a user friendly online tool for staff to view the processes around their role and the cross dependencies’ these have to other product streams, as well as producing and publishing standard operating procedures for all Service Centre functions.In addition to these projects, I led the implementation of a desktop validation tool, which helped validate buildings claims quickly and efficiently, as well as making significant indemnity savings.
