During my five-month On-the-Job Training at OneStop Logistic Solutions Inc. (OLSI), I was able to fully grasp the concept of the end-to-end logistics and warehousing process. Each component, such as the Inbound Department, Quality Assurance Department, Inventory Department, and Outbound Department, has distinct processes that are linked to the overall operation. The theories that were discussed in the four corners of our classroom were very helpful, particularly the Quality Management System principle. Because OLSI is Nestlé's Cagayan Distribution Center, QMS plays an important role in its operations. They are concerned with ensuring that quality is maintained from source to customer. There is always something new to learn about logistics and warehousing. Apart from maintaining product and service quality, their operation also prioritizes cleanliness, food safety, and health safety.
