As Manager of Student Engagement and Retention at UPEI, I designed a Student Transitions Strategy to help support students’ transition from high school to higher education, and a New Student Orientation Strategy focusing on resilience and belonging. I also rebuilt the campus approach to retention through a new Student Retention Strategy, based in clearly-identified mentorship plans and learning analytics.

As Manager of Web Communications and Innovations, I was responsible for re-designing and rebuilding the university website. I developed a Knowledge Management approach for managing, promoting, and prioritizing public university information, and led the development and enactment of a Social Media Strategy, sharing campus accomplishments across multiple content and media platforms.

I designed a web content structure for the university website, managed its social media profile and growth during a crucial era in networked institutional engagement, and led the transition of the institution's site from HTML to CMS. I also consulted in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) process.

I was a Project Manager for the Multimedia Technology and Cognition lab, coordinating a $4.2 million database / virtual research environment (VRE) project and developing educational projects and collaborations.

Hosted live weekly interactive webcasts exploring education, emerging technologies, and digital practice at http://edtechtalk.com. Consulted and collaborated with other open community members including Youth Voices and the National Writing Project through the platform.

Reviewed and evaluated existing distance programs for PEI's provincial community college, developed a detailed plan for integrating daytime and distance curricula and streamlining delivery on Moodle. Developed learning modules for a variety of learning styles, including a focus on experiential learning.
