Lead Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s technology product management team responsible for delivering delightful, outcome-focused curricular experiences to 4,645 Clubhouses nationally. $5M+ budget oversight; supervise team of 2+, lead cross-functional teams and manage 20+ national and international contractors.* Generate product vision, strategy and customer-focused roadmaps for a portfolio of curricular and digital learning webapps, native apps and games.* Present vision and strategy to key stakeholder audiences, including national board, senior leadership, club organization leadership, corporate and private foundations and at national and international conferences. * Lead as Product Owner for core digital curricular property; drive customer and stakeholder engagement, roadmapping and priority-setting.* Set and achieve customer adoption and NPS objectives.

Led Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s innovation team in modernizing youth experiences in 4,645 Clubhouses nationally with a focus on STEM education. Role shifted to increase focus on product innovation leadership. * Led build-out of technology portfolio and supervised team responsible for product management. * Continued Product Ownership for MyFuture.net through several major iterations. * Led design and delivery for key STEM learning, including computer science multi-year program and curricula.

Oversaw design, development and delivery of innovation models for digital learning, including an interactive curriculum website and related digital games. $2M budget oversight; managed cross-functional internal teams and 10+ local, national and international contractors.* Product Owner for BGCA’s youth-facing web property, MyFuture.net. Created and led vision-setting, customer and stakeholder engagement, roadmap generation and participated in Scrum-based delivery. * Led design and delivery for revised Digital Literacy Essentials learning program and related curricula; led and managed CS First robotics programming implementation.* Developed/managed Digital Literacy Essentials’ integrated field marketing and communications to all Club locations and field training for 250 staff, which achieved growth to >250,000 members/annually.

Founded an award-winning 501(c)3 nonprofit that created and produced experimental K-12 digital and data literacy learning tools. Led and managed creative and offshore technical staff of 12 with a budget of $250,000. * Developed and implemented strategy at all levels, including Board cultivation, staffing, product portfolio, major development objectives and marketing. * Led vision-setting, roadmapping, story generation and delivery management for innovative educational media including interactive, “big data” driven websites, an educational search engine (200,000+ student users) and instructional web video. In addition to operating the 3rd most popular K-12 educational search engine, we produced data visualization products that helped students explore literature and history. * Cultivated adoption within 375+ US School Districts.

On a consulting basis: spec'd, hired and project-managed development teams in service of Weber Media Partners' media production efforts.

Led the design, development and launch of Citizen Schools’ key digital properties, including an online volunteer community and corporate Intranet. * Developed, launched and scaled a Sharepoint-based corporate Intranet and “Citizen Teacher Nation,” a volunteer recruitment and support community.

Founded, designed and launched an Internet broadcasting platform for K-12 education. Led a national and offshore team in the design and development of a live streaming platform utilized by over 100 classes and 250 youth nationally and internationally. * Produced curricula to teach creative writing and public speaking. * Trained teachers in 12 public schools to achieve more than 500 hours of live and pre-recorded programming.

It was an honor to collaborate with entrepreneur, social activist and mentor Arthur H. White to develop and pilot a program that linked incarcerated parents with their children through digitally-mediated family literacy exercises. Partners included Reading is Fundamental (book delivery) and several local nonprofit organizations focused on reentry education, literacy and family literacy.

* Interviewed faculty in the T3 cohort to document integration, implementation, and effectiveness of the grant's mission within participating teacher preparation institutions.* Primary contact for teaching faculty who required program support and guidance.* Organized and updated the BlackBoard-based T3 online community; facilitated and moderated live discussions for teacher preparation faculty.Website available at http://www.preservice.org

* Summer teaching faculty position for three summers (2002, 2003, 2004) * Taught Web Design and Photography courses.* Directed and produced a student screenplay each summer. Taught students screenwriting, filming, and digital editing.

Secretary of DistrictAppointee, Area Nine Cable CouncilFounding Member, Friends of Government Access• Elected district secretary and delegate to the town congress. Moderated local debate, voted on town projects and policies in town meeting sessions. Recorded district agenda and submitted records to town hall. Secretary and delegate to the public works committee. • Appointed representative to the Area Nine Cable Council, a county-wide committee which oversees Cable Channel grant distribution for town-government access channel. • Organized and produced channel programming for the town Government cable channel.
