Dave Duncan is Vice President of Sustainability at PTC, responsible for the sustainability capabilities of PTC’s product portfolio to help customers sustainably design, manufacture, and service products. He also leads PTC's internal environmental programs to ensure environmental improvements are aligned with financial goals, both for PTC and our customers. Dave has held various product leadership roles across PTC since 2012 and took on the new challenge of leading PTC’s sustainability programs in 2022. Since taking on this role, Dave has led the effort for PTC’s commitment to Science-Based Targets, which will advance PTC's environmental footprint towards net-zero by 2050. He has also led the effort for PTC to begin reporting our carbon footprint to the Climate Disclosure Project (CDP). At Servigistics, Dave served as Vice President of Product Portfolio Management until 2012 when it was acquired by PTC. Before his path to PTC, Dave held a variety of roles, including service manager at GE Healthcare, ERP technical services lead at JD Edwards (now Oracle), US Army officer in Germany and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and manufacturing QA at Bicron Electronics. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University and received a Blended Professional Certificate: Chief Sustainability Officer from MIT.
