My motorsport experience is storied and diverse. My driving career started at the age of 5, but it quickly evolved and my interests naturally expanded into racetrack operations...Eventually, life led me to the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The education, work ethic & “failure is not an option“ philosophy that was gained in those four years set a foundation for the rest of my career…My professional career in Motorsports started in the Engineeering Department at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. While in college, I led the installation of an $18M Large Screen Video Display (Jumbotrons) Project. It was the largest video screen installation at that time & quite possibly the largest single instantaneous gain in the IMS Fan Experience at that time.The rest, as they say, is history.In 2005, I created RaceTrack Engineering with a mission of taking the ideals and knowledge that we learned at Indianapolis and filter it throughout the rest of the industry. Fifteen years later, we have worked with every major sanctioning body in the US at nearly every major motorsport event on the continent. Oh!Somewhere in there, we started a nonprofit to benefit Riley Childrens Hospital; the hospital that saved my life as a toddler. The support and contribution of our fellow motorsport enthusiasts have resulted in over a quarter of $1 million in donations to this famed Children’s Hospital…At the end of the day, I am most proud of the positive contribution that we have made to our community & the amazing friendships we have made along the way...“If the industry thrives, we too shall thrive…“My future is a clean slate: I have a strong desire to continue to make positive strides in securing a solid foundation for our sport for years to come. I also have a strong desire to expand outside of our sport and take our ideals and philosophies into the “real world“.
