As the Associate Director of Residence Life for The Towers at CCNY, I work with a wide variety of constituents to ensure the success and well-being of my residents and student staff. Always seeking to improve our community, I connect with others through social and educational programming, resource referral both on and off campus, and by being an accessible advocate for others. Additionally, I get to develop our programming model, safety procedures, and policies for the building community to ensure that all residents have a fulfilling experience that also prioritizes safety.

As a Residence Hall Director for Stony Brook University, I spent two and a half years supervising six Resident Assistants and an Office Assistant as well as advising the Hall Council and its Executive Board for Sanger College, a part of the Arts, Culture and Humanities Undergraduate College. In April 2016, I was selected to take the reigns on Stony Brook University's newest residence hall, Harriet Tubman Hall, which features twelve Resident Assistants, a graduate Assistant Coordinator, and brand new facilities. With my students I work to provide a safe and supportive environment through programming efforts, judicial hearings as organized through Pave Systems, and on call responsibilities. Additionally, I teach a section of ACH 101, a course for first year students within my undergraduate college to learn about how to be successful in their college career.

While with AIRD I supervised Residence Assistants over two apartment complexes in Durham while managing several administrative aspects of the Housing program by utilizing CamlusVue. I strived to provide the best services to our students through consistent communication as I looked to help students succeed academically, personally, and professionally through a variety of means including one-on-one meetings to address issues and informal conversations with my residents including programming and judicial hearings.

I supervised a wonderful team of Resident Assistants for the largest residence hall at Randolph College as well as two Head Residents for other buildings. Ultimately, I worked to provide the students of Randolph College a safe, social, and inclusive living environment. I accomplished this by overseeing various training sessions, teaching courses, advising student groups, and counseling individual students in social, cultural, academic, and personal matters.

I supported the administrative and emotional needs of the First Star Bruin Guardian Scholars UCLA Academy, a summer college preparation experience for twenty-four foster youth going into the ninth grade. In this pilot program, I specifically worked with many behind-the-scenes aspects of the program, such as maintaining contact with a number of constituents and organizing evaluation efforts. I also presented on the merits of this program at the 2012 NASPA Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

I supported UCLA's Office of Residential Life by advising Student Leaders within the On Campus Housing Council (UCLA's Residence Hall Association) in their leadership development, conflict mediation, and team building. Furthermore, I coordinated a student-run Student Leader selection process.

I worked with the Office of Orientation and New Student Programs by co-supervising sixteen Orientation Leaders. In this role, I provided trainings in diversity education, leadership, and team building. I also developed and implemented evening orientation sessions, and performed daily office functions.

I supported New Student and Carolina Parent Programs by renovating the department's Facebook and Twitter pages, creating print and electronic media, and helping coordinate larger initiatives such as Orientation Leader selection and Summer Reading.

I aided efforts for UNC Chapel Hill's Office of Undergraduate Admissions by supervising Admissions Ambassadors during the busiest season of the year. In this role, I coordinated visitation experiences for prospective students, such as tours and classroom visits, and helped select new Ambassadors
