I'm a problem solver, and love taking on a challenge. I'm happiest when presented with an end-goal and a deadline, and allowed to figure out how to get a job done on time. As an inside sales lead, my objective is to connect customers with products that will make them more productive. Sometimes this is as easy as recommending a welding machine or gas mix; other times, this can involve taking a look at an entire process and finding places where Praxair products and services can make the customer more effective. I was born and raised in the Seattle area. I graduated from Medowdale High School in 2002, and completed my AA at Edmonds Community College a year later. I moved on to Western Washington University that same year, and earned my BA in Psychology in 2006. While at Western, I also had the opportunity to present at the NOWCAM psychology conference, and worked in one of the psych labs to help conduct an ongoing study. I currently study business at Shoreline Community College, and have learned a lot about how to think not just like a salesperson, but also like a manager and leader. My diverse educational background, and experience at Praxair, has given me a large set of tools to work with when helping customers. I can jump into most tasks, and perform the job of a project manager, an accountant, and a salesperson. I know how to listen to what people are really saying, not just their words, to find out what they really need, and zero in on their goals to make sure they see satisfactory results. This skill set lets me provide a stellar level of customer service that goes beyond just selling product. I'm always excited to connect with colleagues and old friends.
