Senior Manager, Process Engineering
CurrentManage the manufacturing engineering group supporting production of medical ultrasound imaging transducers.The position holds management responsibility for the Transducers Supply Chain Process Engineering group at the Andover manufacturing site. Philips Ultrasound transducers are state-of-the-art, highly complex devices that are a key market differentiator for Philips in the ultrasound market space. These transducers use custom ASICs, customized materials, tooling and significant intellectual property that enable our 3D and 4D technology in various application areas.This broad spectrum of technologies brings a number of technical challenges to the process engineering arena.This position provides leadership for, and definition of, organizational and operational objectives for all transducer manufacturing engineering efforts supporting the Andover transducer site with strong influence to the Reedsville, PA and international OEM sites. The scope of this role includes ongoing production and development of new, highly complex products that will advance the state of the art and the scope of Philips’ Ultrasound business when they are launched 3 to 5 years out. Successful execution of this role requires leadership and influence across the entire Supply Chain Engineering team, Production Operations, Procurement and Supply Management, R&D, regulatory/FDA compliance and the complete supplier base. This role also requires leadership and influence on a cross-site basis with other Ultrasound manufacturing sites. This Senior Manager plays a strong and active role in developing overall strategies, employees and objectives for the entirety of Transducer Supply Chain Engineering organization.
