I currently co-run a hugely successful club night, Ultimate Power. The night, which features non-stop power ballads, has run since 2006 and currently operates in London, Manchester, Brighton, Bristol, Liverpool, Cardiff and Birmingham. I am in charge of promotion, social media, bookings and business strategy, as well as DJing on the night. The club has been featured in Vice, Time Out, The Guardian, The Independent, the NME, and The Times and many others. We have also DJed at virtually every major UK festival including Glastonbury, Download, Reading and more

I run my own independent record label, KIDS Records, founded as a breakeven enterprise in order to find and nurture new talent. To date I have released over 50 singles and 3 albums, including early releases by Band of Horses, The Wombats, The Whip, I Like Trains, Paul Hartnoll (Orbital) and Kyte. We consistently achieve airplay on virtually all radio platforms including Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio X and receive praise in all notable music publications and online. I oversee every release; dealing with A&R, artwork, physical production and co-ordination of all the promotional and marketing campaigns; across radio, written press, online and club promotion.

Work involves researching and writing original material on subjects ranging from entertainment, sport, news and virals, to style and design. I have interviewed a host of celebrities in both music and film. In addition, I source, manipulate and credit images for use on my articles and others, making extensive use of Photoshop, before publishing using the company's CMS. Throughout, I have to consider how best to utilise this material on the company's social network hubs, and how to attract the attention of various online aggregators, often whilst working under strict deadlines.

Playing bass, guitar and keyboards, I undertook a range of session work for artists such as Cee-Lo Green and Carly Connor (Atlantic Records), as well as doing sound editing and production work for several labels.

I scouted for Warner Brothers and was a consultant for artists including Biffy Clyro, The Wombats and Lianne La Havas.

I was the guitarist and songwriter in Defend Moscow. We released several singles, received play on Radio 1, XFM and others and undertook several UK tours.

Developed & signed The Wombats at 14th Floor Records. Their debut album, A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation was released in 2008 following two top 20 hit singles, and went platinum in the UK and many other international territories. I was A&R assistant for Biffy Clyro’s 2007 album, Puzzle which also went platinum and spawned two other top 20 hits. I also performed A&R duties on Damien Rice’s million-selling album, 0 and the sophomore double platinum-selling 9.
