My background in graphic design and as a former art teacher has helped focus my creativity as a photographer. I concentrate mostly on portrait photography but it is always my goal to capture stunning shots of whoever graces the front of my lens. I studied film photography while at Northern Arizona University but when digital photography emerged I quickly changed over from print by studying at the New York Institute of Photography. It just seemed like such a natural step for me since I already had the graphic design background. Now I can be both your photographer and photo editor all in one!I quickly learned that as a studio photographer, many people hate having their photo taken. It wouldn't matter if they were young or old, male or female. Many people just feel so shy that they already think that the photo experience will not be a good one. So that became my photography mission! I want the person I am photographing to have the best time they ever had while having their photos taken.
