As Senior Director of Analytics and Insights, I use data to show how we are helping people make better health decisions. Protecting patient privacy is paramount. Doing so while preserving the utility of data for analysis is essential to demonstrating results that matter to the public we serve. We must claw data back from the forces of entropy that push information sources apart. And with each innovation, we strive to build measurement into the system so we are sure we are making a difference in people’s lives. I provide operational leadership support to the Chief Science Officer and deliver on our research agenda to discover outcomes that matter. I use this outcome data to develop pricing models and value communication in support of Product Management. I also conduct mission initiatives to explore possibilities for future Healthwise products that help people make better health decisions.

I help scientific investigators organize their research activities from pre-award through publication. Healthwise now has a significant research agenda that I am incorporating into the operations of the company on behalf of our Chief Science Officer. Results from these evaluative efforts will help show the value of our solutions and guide us towards the best interventions that drive the triple aim. I continue to play a leadership role around innovating future Healthwise solutions, exploring new business models and pricing for licensed offerings that help people make better health decisions. In health information technology standards development, I am particularly focused on advocating for the concept of Patient Response. Now that Information Therapy is part of Meaningful Use, we need to look ahead to interoperability capabilities that get the patient's voice into electronic care plans in a structured, actionable and workflow-friendly way. I am most passionate about applying patient facing care planning techniques to Advance Care Planning. My hope is that our work will help people communicate their preferences so they get the care and quality of life they want.

Managed the Product Management team responsible for products consisting of decision focussed consummer health education content, technology and services. Represented the voice of the market to the product development team and guided the product sales and marketing strategy with particular emphasis on pricing.

I managed the infrastructure for Delta Dental of Idaho - a pre-paid dental benefits carrier. I was also involved in the design and development of the customer facing aspects of their systems including CRM, SFA, web, and telecom including IVR and fax-on-demand.

Developed and implemented a marketing plan for a printing supplies e-commerce tool for HP channel members.

I co-founded Photerra which was merged with PictureMarketing in 2001. The company provided end-to-end intercept marketing services such as lead generation. Intercept marketing begins with a real-world interaction with a target potential customer. The interaction spawns a relationship between the target and the marketer maintained and tracked by PictureMarketing's systems and services.
