As CFO responsibilities include:•Maintain executive responsibility for financial operations, including working capital, capital expenditures, debt levels, taxes, budget, and general accounting.•Develop and direct financial plans to the strategic business plan, company growth, and market opportunities and direction.•Manage directly or indirectly general ledger and accounting activities.•Establish and maintain stable cash flow management policies and procedures, and ensure cash resources are available for daily operations and business and product development.•Set-up and/or oversee all financial and operational controls and metrics within the organization.•Analyze current and future business operations and plans to determine financial effectiveness.•Prepare and file federal, state, third-party, and other financial reports to ensure compliance with GAAP, DCAA, FAR, IRS and other taxing authorities requirements.

Director – Financial Planning and Analysis•Responsible for managing overall financial planning process, including annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plan.•Oversee analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statements including sales, gross margin, expense and balance sheet analysis and variance reporting. •Manage closing process for sales/sales-related reserve accounts, in addition to R&D, marketing, sales, G&A expenses and prepaid and accrual accounts. •Provide hands on supervision of cost accounting personnel in reconciliation, compilation and analysis of cost of goods sold related expenses, inventory balances, and inventory related reserves and accruals. •Effectively administer company risk management program, initiate and approve necessary accounting entries for areas of responsibility, and provide analysis as required for senior management.•Manage integration of financial systems and processes as well as plant consolidation and shut down as a result of acquisition activities. Business Unit Controller – LAN Products Group•Performed analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statements for business unit; analyzed sales trends and developed monthly sales and gross margin forecasting. •Managed development of annual operating plan and forecasts in coordination with company management; provided analysis of actual results versus plan. •Oversaw preparation of consolidated sales and channel inventory reports, in addition to departmental expense variance reporting. •Successfully managed treasury function for $65 million portfolio, including daily cash management and investment decisions in compliance with Company policies and guidelines.
