Thirty years working as a manager and executive in several different businesses with Prudential Financial gave me the opportunity to build strong leadership and leadership development capabilities. When I retired from Prudential in 2004 I began my work as an advisor with international think-tank Interchange Associates. A year later I founded Designed Outcomes, a highly specialized consulting firm that works with senior executives to resolve complex and pervasive business problems and business-growth challenges. For a few years I wrote a blog, which you can find at www.UbiquitousWisdom.com. In 2009 I became President of Interchange Associates, Inc.I enjoyed working with my Designed Outcomes clients on a wide variety of topics, including strategy development, executive coaching and leadership development, change and transition management, and, for entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses, transition and leadership continuity [succession planning] . In 2012, as an offshoot from work I was doing with several Designed Outcomes clients I co-authored with Dr. Moss Jackson the book: Changing Places: Making a Success of Succession Planning for Entrepreneurs and Family Business Owners. In all of my work I focus is on finding relatively inexpensive and easy to implement ways to fix, resolve, and sometimes simply dissolve, pervasive and vexing business problems.
