Theplace2b’s mission is to help youth, ages 14-18, develop hope, increase resiliency and create successful lives of which they can be proud.Theplace2b is a safe haven for youth in Rock Island and Scott Counties, located in the YWCA Annex in downtown Rock Island at 1600 2nd Avenue.The center is open from 3:00-9:00 pm, Monday through Friday, providing warmth, food, clothing, shelter, homework help, creative, programming, and counseling for the youth.
