After a period of travelling in 2010, I rejoined the Health TV team in 2011 and worked in a different role of Network Manager.In this role I was responsible for securing a new ISP for the network, maintaining the network and managing faults, installation of the Health TV systems in medical centres and hospitals as well as sourcing new technology such as media players.

I was employed as Head of Production, which saw me oversee the production of content for both the Health TV network and national broadcast.In this role I oversaw projects from initial funding proposals, planning and budgeting, scripting and providing story outlines to clients, sourcing and employing staff and ensuring projects finish on time and on budget. I created systems around the production arm of the business and my written manuals for these processes became an important tool in staff training.And with my audio experience, I became the "voice of Health TV" on many documentaries and advertisments!My knowledge of the Health TV network means I was an invaluable asset to the company, as on top of producing content I was also responsible for the program scheduling across the network, which is diverse and has a wide range of demographics to cater for. With 185 sites across New Zealand, each with individual requirements; planning, accuracy and creative thinking have been essential in this role. The delivery method of the Health TV network (Internet Protocol Television) means I have also developed extensive computer and IT knowledge unique to this industry.
