Supply Chain Planning• Leads and mentors the efficient replenishment managers• Oversee the strategic effectiveness of the ER process (demand planning, supply planning and development) across all business units (consumer, food service and export) • Oversees monthly Consensus and S&OP process with Sales, Marketing and the Leadership Team• Monitors yearly inventory plans and days of supply (DOS) by SKU standards• Assists in the development and creation of the monthly supply and inventory plans • Continuously challenges current process and system to improve supply chain efficiency and conduct business at the lowest possible cost • Manages relationships with senior marketing and sales leaders to refine and manage the promotional planning cycle. Optimizes the core distribution structure and design as well as present and future factory direct service opportunities that will optimize service levels and reduce costs.• Determine key performance indicatorsContract Manufacturing• Negotiates contracts with identified finished good (FG) co-packers as needed• Accountable for defined co pack processes• Acts as the primary point person on all contract manufacturing activities• Negotiates and secure pricing for all co pack providers• Leads cost reduction initiatives as required for assigned co pack providers• Directs the execution of new Marketing initiatives for finished goods requirements once cost and feasibility analyses have been completed and initiatives have been approved• Maintains effective and timely communication with key functional SBA team members regarding new initiatives during the execution phase• Manages other key projects as assigned.• Establishes quarterly Key Business Indicator review meetings with co pack providers

To plan, organize, direct and control the Plant operations to achieve production objectives at controlled costs, quality standard & in safe environment. - Understand and influence milk supply management.- Manage the daily activities of the plant to ensure that daily production requirements are consistently met in a cost effective manner while maintaining production, quality standards & in a safe environment.- Provide direction for long-range production planning to ensure that future production requirements can be met. To ensure that manufacturing capacity is effectively managed.- Ensure the cost effective financial management of the plant operations. Develop and monitor annual budget. Identify variances and potential corrective actions. - Ensure that the plant operates in the most cost effective manner possible. Develop ideas for cost savings and prioritize opportunities.- Demonstrate leadership in the development, prioritization and realization of capital investment and continuous improvement projects.- Provide leadership and development to the plant management team. To provide one-on-one coaching to the management team.- Ensure that a cooperative labour relations environment is maintained. To ensure that the collective agreement and employee policies are applied in a consistent and fair manner.- Ensure that minimum asset levels of raw materials and finished goods inventories are maintained and that plan requirements are met.- Ensure that effective manufacturing practices are continually utilized. To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained and that all legislative regulations are met.- Ensure excellent customer service. To actively work with Supply Chain management and Business Team Leaders to develop least cost business solutions to newly defined customer requirements.
