My current role involves an awful lot of meticulous media planning and buying activities, but the main stay is focused on hatching and developing innovative and cost effective advertising solutions for our clients, that in turn generate impressive ROI. We offer an impressive range of services that encompasses Outdoor Media, Digital Out of Home, Promotional Merchandise, Creative Design and Print.The work I undertake is a joy to behold, running our successful business along side my Co-Director and wife Jenny. Selling innovative and cost effective Outdoor Media services via email and face to face meetings. An extremely important part of my early development within the ultra-competitive advertising industry, which I thoroughly enjoyed.My average day consisted of identifying prospects via local press, online, radio, tv and spotting venues in busy Towns and City Centres who were due to open/just opened, were moving or announcing sales. I arranged presentations and followed up by emailing/writing proposals and taking bookings. The Ad Van was (and still is) a very versatile and cost effective Mobile Billboard, which could be positioned anywhere at anytime, throughout the UK. Clients used them for targeting competitor customers, as a directional aid to an event, as a portable backdrop to a leafleting/experiential staff operation, to target rush hour commuters at busy junctions etc...Highlights of my employment included securing clients who are market leaders in the hotel industry and home furnishings sectors.
