David Grossbard has been working in the ­financial services industry for over 20 years, primarily on the East Coast. Holding Series 7, 63 and 65 in addition to life and health insurance licenses, David focuses on wealth management, tailoring each client’s individualized wealth plan to their lifestyle desires, ­financial goals, age, time horizon and risk appetite. “As clients get closer to their retirement age or are concerned about market volatility, we review alternate potential strategies together,” he says.David founded Sylvan Financial Advisors in order to focus on wealth management. “We create your investment plan, then monitor your overall portfolio performance to help ensure we achieve your plan goals,” David says. David chose both companies as partners because their approach and philosophy mirror his own.David grew up in the greater NYC area and earned his B.S. in business administration and management from Queens College. He has been married for over 25 years and has two daughters—one in college and one entering college next year. An avid golfer, he enjoys the competitive nature as well as the friendly camaraderie of the game. David is a knowledgeable sports fan and enjoys all types of music.
