Legacy system and process constraints, and limited budgets, often conflict with growth goals and target outcomes. Add to these challenges that inevitably surprises and change disrupt the best of strategic and implementation plans.These challenges are where DaveG excels at unpacking complex problems into actionable and practical solutions. Advising consulting teams at different firms on how to apply GenAI towards work simplification and intelligent workflow automation.✓ Designed and implemented the Capabilities to Change Features Framework (C2F2) that delivered a full business and architecture scope for $100M+ policy admin system resulting within 90-days across 30+ business unit contributors plus 2VPs and 7 different types of architects.

Unfortunately Girls in Tech suffered the same fate in July that Women Who Code suffered in April - dissolution due to an unexpected cancellation of a few large corporate sponsorships.As a Donor I have believed in the missions of Girls in Tech, Women in Tech and other professional women's NPOs and STEAM programs. Thus for Girls in Tech, I had volunteered to lead an Outreach Program to Phoenix valley employers. One that focused on defining the Minimum Viable Employable skills (MVEs) that are required to be eligible for entry level roles, e.g. internships, no or limited prior experience and re-entry jobs. Our focus had been tech jobs within the 7 primary industries in this area.Closing the gaps from what Pew Research calls Fundamental Skills, to the MVEs will require upskilling programs that no one company, NPO or gov't program can sustain, and none have successfully launched such yet. There are a lot of training and certification options (private within companies, and public from training providers, and product or platform providers like Azure, Google, AWS, Adobe, Salesforce, etc.). But none that tangibly build job skills using experiential learning, and beginning with the basic core skills to even start the training and certification programs. I will continue to research and seek those who are working this issue.

Advised on and solutioned hybrid cloud solutions across on-premises, AWS, Google, and Azure environments, including complex modernization of Web/mobile apps, middleware and API gateways without disrupting customer experiences during co-existence of legacy and modern systems. Led pilots of AIOps for large ERP, global enterprise operations and carrier network ops. Translated client needs into services led hybrid cloud, devops, and 1-touch CI/CD solutions. Architected conceptual solutions that then guided detailed design for app modernization, analytics-as-a-service portal (monetization of analytics) and large scale data fabrics.A few accomplishments:✓ Saved $100M in catch-up fees while modernizing and stabilizing large US client by leading IBM SAP architect team to develop 4 wave solution for 32 applications, 17 environments, 866 servers, and 400+ interfaces.✓ Led AIOps pilots that spanned 1000’s of systems, 1M’s of automations, and supported >$50B in revenue.✓ Spearheaded a team of AI experts which developed a redesign of 5 data fabrics which had hit the Azure-specific capacity limitations.✓ Architected client-based analytics-as-a-service which would automatically configure and manage the AI models, analytics sequences and report generation for market analysis and target company requests. This commercial portal would also route work orders to the data scientists where models needed revision or new models constructed.✓ In large-scale enterprise database management of 4,000+ databases led client, IBM consulting, IBM product and partner teams to develop a solution that would eliminate 1000’s of maintenance and upgrade hours/year, reduce operating costs by 15%+, and reduce quarterly upgrade windows by 40-50%.

Led a high-capability team of 4 Program Executives, all past the C-level or VP stage of their careers, to identify and enact high-visibility digital and agile transformations both internally and for external clients. At request of and working with NA VP Sales to develop a solution sales lead generation program and then host the training of over 100 sellers. My teams were developing lean-agile methods, training and CI/CD processes for both internal adoption and for clients.A few accomplishments:✓ Clients struggled getting the expected value from their Agile programs. Our teams had developed scalable lean-agile methods, CI/CD tool chains and squad training, but clients thought “we are doing that”. So, to illustrate the difference I led 3 teams to develop a 360o virtual reality (VR) video that showed sales and marketing VPs working with an Agile squad, their dashboards (pop-ups) and what happens when a code drop fails the auto build to deploy process.✓ Enabled global training for thousands of global employees by building a Lean-Agile Academy and Coach-the-Coaches programs for a global auto manufacturer that was struggling to scale CI/CD and rapid Agile development.

By 1Q revenue was at plan, bookings 30% above plan and contribution margin is on track to plan by 3Q. 5 solutions launched by 2Q2015.
