Current• INTERVIEW TECHNIQUES: Interview asylum applicants in person as well as in the telephonic context to determine asylum eligibility. • INVESTIGATIVE TECHNIQUES & UNDERSTANDING LAWS/REGULATIONS: Review and analyze country conditions around the world, conduct criminal background checks, and identify fraudulent documents.• QUANTITATIVE/QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS: Review asylum documents to determine past persecution, well-founded fear of future persecution, and Convention Against Torture claims in both the credible/reasonable fear context as well as in affirmative asylum.• WRITTEN/ORAL COMMUNICATION: Draft interview assessments and immigration documents when determining asylum eligibility.
