Initially transferred from the Goodrich facility in Oldsmar, FL to the new Goodrich ESC division in Phoenix, AZ. Lead Designer / Engineer / VPM AdministratorMain Programs: Dodge RAM, Durango, Dakota, Minivan, Sebring. • Develop ideas for various options of material and or tooling options in order to produce part.• Use CDV to locate and VPM to retrieve all background data needed to make sound assessment and logical direction of new product development. • Create design sectional criteria proposals and surface data proposals to achieve goals.• Create surface or solid modeling data in either Catia V4 or V5.• Use CDV to analyze design to surrounding background data to check for any interference.• Set up meetings with engineers to resolve problems and revise design if necessary. Repeat until production.• Create GD&T drawings using ANSI Y14.5.• Create parts and assemblies in VPM database. Configure parts and create CN (Change notices) to accept design and get ready for approval to begin the release process.
