As a Senior Analyst in BDO's Valuations group, I built financial models and professional valuation reports to support and facilitate transactions, tax compliance/restructuring, litigation, shareholder disputes, and financial reporting.

As a senior in BDO's Assurance and Accounting group, I was both a leader and a team member on a variety of audit and review engagement spanning several industries - particularly real estate, manufacturing, and financial services.As a secondee working in the Boston, Massachusetts office in April and May of 2016, I provided assurance services as part of a team on a large, newly acquired public company operating in the technology industry.

As the resident English "expert", I drafted clear and succinct business English documents, organized English language mastery training sessions, led team building activities, and designed/implemented a functional intern HR Access database.I also initiated an online blog/learning hub for staff to review key concepts and discussion material.

Connecting homeowners in Ontario with the wonders of the Green Energy Act and the Ontario Micro-FIT program, I helped facilitate the mass consumer uptake of solar technology.Consistently meeting sales targets, I worked both full-time and part-time to guide consumers through a complicated legal framework and instill confidence in the PURE brand.

Working within the Global Capital Management division, I supported financial reporting and provided ad-hoc analysis for a team of analysts over the course of the summer.Additionally, I implemented a database report that quantified our bank relationships, analyzed and inventoried financial models, and initiated team use of SharePoint to improve document collaboration.

Working for CIBC in Technology & Operations, I created efficiencies by automating a manually created project timeline, and building an access database to better facilitate tracking the status of ongoing technology projects.Additionally, I assisted in project financial reporting, allocation report preparation, and coordinated regular administrative activities throughout our group.

Working for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs, I had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from business/financial analysis to web development.As a highlight, I compiled a high level balanced scorecard analysis of our branch activities. This included:- Analyzing branch strategic, long-term, and short-term goals, focusing on connecting our current inputs and outputs with their eventual outcomes.- A detailed data analysis of our branch program compliance to established "service standards", including a finalized graphical report, presentation, and recommendations.

As a Marketing Representative "Pioneer" for the ROE Web program, I was one of the first students to work on this unique project. I pitched the service to hundreds of companies in the GTA, traveling around the city to meet with a wide range of professionals to complete registrations.This was a challenging role often involving extensive planning, preparation, and in-depth knowledge of the product. I consistently exceeded expectations (20+ registrations per week), guided and mentored new hires, and continued the role part time throughout the following school year.

I offered clarification and advice on government programs and services, and delivered outstanding service to citizens in the Guelph area.This role was a part-time engagement simultaneous to my work as a Marketing Representative throughout the 2009 - 2010 school year.
