Originally commencing as a Mechanical Engineer in the building services sector, the challenge was offered to get on board with 3D mechanical design before the rest of the world would be adapting it by necessity.Over a decade later, the crystal ball proved accurate. The rewards for being significantly involved at this stage have been significant and range from a truer understanding of what is required to truly make the designs work, to opportunities to get a creative-capability skill set through to being able to better adapt to new steps and requirements whilst others start theirs.Having solid exposure to both mechanical and electrical services allows good foundation for understanding the overall process of integrating all services into a unified project design.The opportunity at Wood & Grieve has demanded a significant requirement in the family creation area for Revit electrical services. Much needed to be done to take the company to the next level which has been achieved. What has been created has been a major success. The future potential of the industry is only growing exponentially, The challenge will always be to keep ahead of it.
