Dave has 20 years experience working within the Oil and Gas industry as an Information Management professional. His experience covers both the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors and owner operator environment. He is known as someone who gets the job done. The EPC experience was mainly gained whilst embedded within Oil and Gas based projects. 14 of these years were spent working with Bechtel and Stone & Webster within project based CAD and Data management activities. This work included setting up and supporting 3D CAD intelligent modeling packages; developing applications that bolt onto document management systems and automation of document handover/website creation. Responsibilities were global and in this time he gained extensive experience of a wide range of CAD and software platforms, responsible for setting up and supporting Large Multi site projects in London, Delhi, Paris, Abu Dhabi, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Houston and the processes to handle collaborative environments. During the final three years at Bechtel he was responsible for the electronic document handover packages for the majority of Petrochemical projects that Bechtel London had completed as well as aiding in the development of automated electronic notification and project status websites. After moving to Bentley Systems Ltd, Dave was working within professional services focusing on Data Management solutions for Oil and Gas projects. He spent time on data handover activities for BP North Sea and BP Algeria. His last project at Bentley was spent architecting, developing and delivering a new web based search engine for BP Alaska Maintenance and Engineering which brings many disparate data sources systems together into a single fast searchable data warehouse, this was based on Bentley Lifecycle Server (LCS a.k.a eWarehouse) system. Now a senior consultant at Datum360 Dave has been working with BP Norway and Engie.
