About David Newell

I began my career as a programmer intern for Erie Insurance. During my internship I supported a C# Web Forms application already in a production environment. This gave me a wide variety of experience ranging from working with JavaScript making Ajax calls, to writing SQL scripts to modify the database. After graduating I worked for the company for another year as a Software Engineer on an agile team creating a C# MVC web application. As part of my daily tasks I worked with JavaScript, C#, SQL, HTML, and XML to create new functionality and provide production support. Currently I work as a Programmer Analyst for the Boeing Company. During my time with the Boeing company I have worked on various projects utilizing a wide array of technologies. Some of the highlights of my time with Boeing have been working writing a resource management tool in Angular, writing data APIs for various internal teams, working on F-15 flight simulations, and currently with writing a React app for managing access to internal business intelligence tools. Now to tell you a little more about me on a personal note. I currently live in Saint Louis with my wife Hannah, our two troublesome cats Alfred and Alistair, and our equally troublesome beagle Daisy.
