Although I work in the technology field aviation and flying are my passion.I have been working in the I.T. field professionally since 1986. prior to that I was the geeky kid in my parents basement that loved to learn about computers and what I could make them do.I remember when P.C.'s had 640K of ram, 10meg hard drives and green screens. Those were the good old days.I started flying when I was 15 in 1982. I soloed at 16 and received my Private Pilot Certificate at 17.In 2005 I obtained my instrument rating. I really enjoy flying in all kinds of weather and the challenges that come with it.Later in 2005 I became a Commercial pilot. I don't fly for hire with any regularity; I did it because I wanted to become a better pilot.In 2006 I reached goal of becoming a Certified Flight Instructor.Late in 2008 I was accepted to serve on the Board of Directory for Angel Flight Central (AFC). AFC www.angelflightcentral.org arranges flight for people with a medical and financial need. As a pilot I donate my plane and flying expertise to help those in need.
