• Responsible for the tactical defence of UK airspace, and for leading an operational enterprise of 1100 people at 9 Defence locations across the UK.
• Created a new shared sense of purpose and brought much-needed rigour to all C-Suite functions across thematic areas, including operations, safety, security, finance (£3M budget), welfare, and culture.
• Safely navigated our dispersed teams through the COVID pandemic, implementing novel health protection measures, while maintaining 100% of our operational outputs.
• Successfully implemented 12 externally driven change programmes spanning equipment, infrastructure, human resources, communications, logistics and finance.
• Pioneered innovative new ways to maximise the value of contract-delivered services for the benefit of the team, including a new gym facility, enhanced catering offer and upgraded living accommodation.

• Responsible for managing the creation, use, storage and disposal of all information used by over 8800 NATO personnel across 9 European locations.
• Led the most significant update to NATO information management policy for over 11 years, which required extensive multi-agency engagement.
• Co-authored NATO Headquarters’ inaugural Business Continuity Policy, which formalised business continuity and resilience standards across the Alliance.
• Developed and implemented the organisation’s first set of COVID response plans to protect and sustain NATO’s operational effectiveness throughout the pandemic.
• Implemented major overhaul of NATO’s electronic document management platform and task tracking tool, ensuring robust development testing, focused user training, an effective communications plan and leadership buy-in.

North Africa

• Responsible for assisting the Libyan Government in rebuilding an effective Defence and Security apparatus under a United Nations Security Council Resolution.
• Conceived and delivered a new stakeholder analysis mapping tool to inform key leader engagements and to identify risks and threats to United Nations nation-building activities.
• Directly supported the reformation of the Libyan Presidential Guard, National Coastguard and Libyan Navy, through development of candidate vetting processes and operational training plans.

• Responsible for the operation of a joint UK/US missile warning, missile defence and space domain awareness radar site, staffed by over 300 military and contract personnel.
• Overcame significant organisational inertia to significantly enhance business resilience, including successfully securing revised contracts to remediate critical radar equipment obsolescence and to enhance snow and ice.
• Drove innovations in training and evaluation processes, which resulted in the highest possible rates of achievement during 2nd and 3rd party operational audits.
• Doubled the size of the unit’s social media following, thereby extending the reach of key messages around the importance of space domain awareness (both nationally and internationally).
