Federal legislative advocacy for innovative, cause-connected healthcare technology partner for human services and post-acute organizations nationwide. Had a direct advocacy impact on statutory changes to 42 CFR Part 2 federal privacy regulations to better enable persons with a substance use disorder (SUD) or history of SUD to receive quality care in parity with patients with other medical conditions. Worked directly and with key industry associations to fund expansion of the life-changing Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) program to additional states. Also manage and optimize Netsmart corporate partnerships with the National Association of Counties (NACo) and National Association of County Behavioral Health and Developmental Disability Directors (NACBHDD). Serve as a member of the NACo Healthy Counties Advisory Board. Now semi-retired and privileged to continue to work with Netsmart through a consultant agreement.

Developed and drove results-focused communications plans for start-up and established technology and manufacturing clients, including strategy, message development and implementation. Conducted media relations training. Researched/wrote white papers, established a customer newsletter and managed trade media relations for a major manufacturing client.
