As a Behavioural Scientist, I channel my passion into empowering individuals to actively foster safe, equitable, and inclusive environments within homes, workplaces, schools, and communities. My journey into this work began after the tragic loss of my best friend, Hannah Clarke, and her three children in February of 2020.As an ambassador for Small Steps 4 Hannah and a sought-after keynote speaker, I deliver impactful addresses nationwide on topics such as masculinity, gender-based violence prevention, respectful relationships, and fostering safe community behavior. My unique blend of honesty, personal narrative, and evidence-based violence prevention research has earned me invitations to share my insights on the award-winning podcast, "Hannah’s Story," and the Queensland Police Service podcast initiative, "Behind the Doors of Domestic Violence.” Additionally, I have also been privileged to lend my expertise to speaking panels alongside prominent violence prevention activists Tarang Chawla (Not one more Nikki), Matt Brown (She is not your rehab), and prominent violence prevention researcher Kate Fitz-Gibbon.Driven by my vision of a safer tomorrow and my love for Hannah Clarke and her children, I have also pioneered the HALT Program - a ground-breaking Small Steps 4 Hannah initiative dedicated to empowering young people to champion safe and equitable relationships. Through my extensive engagements in speaking and education, spanning various age groups, I passionately emphasize actionable steps for all people to cultivate a culture of safety and respect.
