I create work orders for the purpose of supporting Manufacturing Engineering in an effort to get components and tooling made in house. I also close out work orders after they are no longer needed. I assist various department personnel in the movement of components and assemblies to the proper stockrooms as they await to be used by assembly personnel. I create a weekly part status report for supervision that documents scheduled dates for in house component manufacturing.

Create design of components and assemblies in the manufacture of hospital grade sterilizers. Much experience in sheet metal design. Sheet metal designs included large amount of outer paneling and bracketry used for the mounting of inner equipment. Some experience in ordering purchase parts (writing purchase orders, etc.).Moderate experience (about 6 months) in piping assemblies within the sterilizers. This experience is as a result of working close with more experienced designers and engineers who helped familiarize myself with how our products work. Worked in a small group setting to eliminate old-fashioned manifold systems within the piping package. These old assemblies were replaced by a new design consisting of a series of flex hoses that were more efficient and cost effective. Participated greatly (individually and within a group) to redesign existing rack assemblies used for holding equipment going into the sterilizers. Lended support in the design and drafting of state of the art loading carts that loaded medical devices into the unit for the purpose of sterilization.
