During my tenure with the Company, net sales grew 340%.Responsible for all treasury, risk management and domestic and international tax functions, overall planning and forecasting processes, SEC reporting, international finance and sales and service finance (including managing seven division/country controllers and their groups, the tax group, and the corporate safety group). As controller responsible for all internal and external accounting functions and managed a group of 30, including five division/country controllers. • Drafted and filed three underwritten public offerings, raising a total of $245M.• Negotiated $75 million and $150 million unsecured, syndicated bank lines of credit.• Negotiated the $23 million purchase of facilities and related improvements.• Initiated a comprehensive cash management policy. • Managed up to $300 million generating as much as 15% of the Company’s pre-tax income.• Managed cash resources through a period of limited liquidity.• Achieved planning integrity, gaining control of forecast and plan predictability.• Implemented a comprehensive approach to risk management, decreasing exposures and costs.• Developed foreign exchange procedures to hedge all significant currency exposures.• Incorporated six foreign subsidiaries bringing total foreign entities to eleven.• Converted foreign subsidiaries from buy-sell to commissionaire entities.• Standardized and formalized internal reporting at the operating group level.• Centralized common accounting functions and streamlined the consolidation process.• Guided the financial system conversion of the newly acquired photolithography division.
