As a Tiltrotor Instructor Pilot was responsible for training student pilots from the Marine Corps and Air Force to fly the MV-22B Osprey so that they may go on to deploying MV-22B and CV-22 units.As the Quality Assurance Officer I was directly responsible to the Aviation Maintenance Officer and the Commanding Officer to provide a systematic and efficient method for gathering, analyzing, and maintaining information on the quality characteristics of products, the source and nature of defects, and their immediate impact on the current operation. Specific functions of my position include but are not limited to the following:-Improve the quality, uniformity, and reliability of the total maintenance effort. -Improve the work environment, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance effort. -Eliminate unnecessary man-hour and dollar expenditures. -Improve training, work habits, and procedures of maintenance personnel. -Increase the excellence and value of reports and correspondence originated by maintenance personnel. -Perform inspections of all maintenance equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations.
