Dave left his position, Aviation Manager, Senior Check Airman, Captain at Swift Air in March 2020.Dave is currently involved in several domestic or international Aviation Projects. One Stop Jets, Orlando, Florida, offering aircraft sales, brokering, and all aviation services. Dave also is co-owner of AIROLFLY LLC. AIROFLY is currently developing a personal eVTOL aircraft. AIROFLY is based in Montenegro, with offices in the U.K. and Florida.Dave’s career in aviation of over 54 years has touched almost every spectrum of air transportation including Chief Pilot for NetJets Large Aircraft on the BBJ. From the Boeing 707 for TWA/Saudi Arabian Airlines, he was assigned to accepted delivery of their first Gulfstream jets for the royal family. After training the Gulfstream crews, he returned to the airline as Captain on the Boeing 737. On return to the United States, he became the chief pilot for Editorial America, S. A. in Caracas, Venezuela, followed by a career at Southwest Airlines as senior captain on the Boeing 737 and 727. After retirement from Southwest he took a position as chief pilot for Premier Aircraft Management operating a Boeing VIP 737 on worldwide charters; then as chief pilot for Boeing NetJets. That position also included TSA Instructor, FAA Instructor and Check Airman on the B-737 NG. A call for help in 2005 moved him to Frankfurt, Germany, operating "Classified" shuttle flights to Kabul and Baghdad. Dave then found his way to Tel Aviv as Captain on a Boeing Business Jet. That was followed by an assignment to Macau, China as Captain on a VIP Boeing 737 for Las Vegas Sands Aviation (Venetian Casinos).Dave also has his own company, World Wide Aviation, Inc. that offers delivery, contract flights, crew contract, and consultancy work. Dave is known for his passion and dedication and was recently recognized in a feature article in the Orlando Sentinel (June 8, 2014). At Southwest, he received the coveted Herb Kelleher Award for his cost savings efforts on his days off. He also served as Vice President for ALPA Mutual Aid in Herndon, Virginia. Dave served as the Chairman of the Leesburg Florida International Airport Advisory Board from November 2010 until November 2014.
