We did a variety of projects including install new windows, restore and replace siding, replace exterior trim, build a deck, install a reclaimed tongue-and-groove floor, and intricate crown molding and interior trim-work - just to name a few of the many projects.

During my time at Sunlight Solar, I wore many different hats. Being a company with a smaller employee base, I was called upon to fulfill many roles. For three months I was doing small residential solar installations every day of the week, rain or shine. For the majority of my time with Sunlight Solar I performed site surveys for potential customers. This would include pre-evaluation of the home’s roof structure and electrical panel, preliminary system design, along with sitting down with the potential customer to explain system details and system sales. Follow-up required creating proposals in online format and in Excel, along with email and phone conversations clearly explaining everything from pricing to system benefits related to the customer. The company would also host a “Basics of Solar” workshop where I would do an hour presentation with a slide show for a group of up to 25 people.
