I am an all-around experienced attorney at law based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with a strong track record in the corporate international legal and financial services industry. My expertise spans a wide range of legal matters, including corporate law, corporate governance, directors’ liability, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) disputes, banking and finance law, corporate and commercial litigation, contract negotiations, breach of contract disputes, real estate and project development, and sports law.I hold an LL.M. from Erasmus University Rotterdam, where I also participated in a Socrates-Erasmus exchange program at the University of Salamanca in Spain. This experience deepened my appreciation for diversity and inclusivity, values I strive to embody in my practice.My legal career began in 2004 at VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne in Curaçao, one of the largest and most reputable law firms in the Dutch Caribbean. In 2012, I co-founded De Winter Liqui-Lung Attorneys at Law in Curaçao, where I worked until 2019. After moving to Amsterdam, I completed a course in sports law at VU University Amsterdam and passed the Dutch Bar Exam, ultimately joining Stonewater in 2024.In addition to my legal practice, I have served as a supervisory board member for several regulated financial institutions. I believe that effective supervision enhances the performance of managing boards and upholds the corporate and social values of organizations.
