Stackpole is a premier world manufacturer of innovative engine and transmission pumps and high performance powder metal components to the global automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).Reported to the President & CEO of Stackpole Ltd, responsible for the Automotive Gear Division including P&L, Health & Safety, Environment, Sales, Product Development, Production, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems, Finance and Human resources. Annual sales of the division were $120 million CAD.■ Developed and executed effective turnaround plan to bring acceptable profitability to the division through the implementation of lean manufacturing principals. Within two years took the division from an annual loss of $15 million to a profit of $12 million (10% of sales).■ Achieved significant improvement in operational efficiency and product quality through innovative approaches to organizational structure and continuous improvement resulting from the development of the Stackpole Operating System based on the Toyota Production System and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
