I am a Creative Director, Graphic Designer, and a Marketing Advisor. I work alongside and advise CEOs, Marketing Directors and Executive Stakeholders for companies large and small. I have created and integrated brands and corporate identity systems across multiple industries from health food to public transportation, technology to sporting goods, and nonprofits to entertainment. I've provided leadership and guidance in story building, messaging, content development, design, and marketing strategy for both internal and external communications. For the past 10+ years, I've focused my attention exclusively on one client in the public transportation space. As you know, 2020 has not been easy for anyone and public transportation in particular has been affected tremendously by the pandemic. As such, I'm seeking to expand my focus by bringing on a few additional clients needing branding and visual communication services.

Painter / SculptorDave Malone Art 1998 - PresentSalt Lake City, UtahAs a juxtaposition to strategic design and branding, I paint and sculpt in various mediums and with multiple materials. The creation of art is intended to calm the mind and bring a sense of non-objectivity to the process. Of course, the irony is that's not always the case. Making art seems to bring out the same amount of passion and attention to detail as all other endeavors in my life. At times, I let loose and avoid caring about the outcome. In another three years, we were up to 35+ creatives and my position in the firm grew exponentially into the roles of Creative Director and Senior Marketing Consultant with the term “branding” only beginning to take hold industry-wide. In addition to managing all aspects of a growing design firm with my partner, Barry Huddleston, I was the Lead Creative Director overseeing client relationships, new businesses, designers, production teams, copy writers, and account executives. The firm ultimately grew to 40 creatives and billed 5 million dollars in 1998. In 2002, mostly due to the events that followed 9/11, the firm dissolved. Show less -
