I founded Intrinsic Algorithm L.L.C in December of 2001. We are an independent game development studio and contract programming company. I specialize in mathematical modelling of game data, artificial intelligence design and programming.As an AI consultant and contractor, my credits include:* AI Architect with the Storybricks team on SOE's EverQuest Next.

Starting with a group of 3 people in 2008, the OGDA grew to have as many as 30 people at meetings. While I don't take an active role in the management of the group, I still run many of the social media connections and attend/speak at meetings from time to time.

Along with Steve Rabin, co-founded the AI Game Programmers Guild, the largest collection of professional game AI programmers.

Starting with the inaugural AI Summit in 2009, along with Steve Rabin I co-founded the annual GDC AI Summit. (I was not an official advisor in year 1 due to an oversight.) I continued to be an advisor for the first 10 years. My role was to select the talks, organize and mentor the participants, rewrite titles and descriptions as necessary for the 12-15.

Contracted with Compaq (now HP) to design and develop a custom database application using MS Access and extensive VBA programming. Application acted as a client to access a custom SQL database. Database functionality required regular data import and manipulation from numerous external data sources. Project was suspended due to continually changing.

Contracted with Inacom/Compaq (now HP) to design and develop various custom database applications using MS Access and extensive VBA programming. Database back-ends were on either SQL or DB2. Was responsible for requirements gathering, business analysis, relational design, data modeling, client design and programming, and ongoing maintenance of both.

Contracted as part of a team to install and configure new computer systems for client banks of First Commerce Technologies throughout the Midwest and Florida. Was responsible for installation of NT Server/Workstation, various MS Backoffice products, and FCT’s proprietary software. Was also responsible for server and workstation hardware configuration.

Performed various functions on contract to customers of family computer consulting business. Contracts included design and rollout of a world-wide email system for MFS Communications using MS Exchange Server, design and management of the web site for the Metro Omaha Builders Association, Greater Des Moines Home Builders Association, and web sites of.

Performed various functions on contract including network design using NT Server, MS Exchange Server, SMS, SNA, and relational database development using Access and VBA.
