Collaborating with the California Air Resources Board (CARB), I played a key role in defining UCO standards and regulations for the Low Carbon Fuels Standard (LCFS), helping establish CARB’s Inedible Kitchen Grease program and Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon metrics. This work has contributed significantly to biofuels’ carbon reduction goals.Throughout my career, I’ve excelled in structuring trade agreements, building buyer-supplier networks, and supporting sustainability through biofuels and upcycled feedstocks. My portfolio spans commodities, human-grade food, cosmetics, and animal feed, adhering to standards from CARB, LCFS, RFS, USDA, and international certifications like ISCC and RED.I’ve also been integral to startups, supporting their growth from early stages through funding rounds, including helping one achieve a billion-dollar valuation.
