Recruited 5 foundational utilities that grew to 42 facility owner members, ultimately certifying over 1,600 organizations into the GSS program. • Product Innovation – Developed and deployed a novel standardized excavation safety metric, DPIR = Damage Prevention Incident Rate, which mathematically models and quantitatively indicates excavator safety performance. This enables continuous improvement that helps drive buried infrastructure excavation damages to zero. • Product Development – A key contributor to the creation of a comprehensive damage prevention safety management system for utilities and their contractors. Verified program utility and guided the implementation of the program and use of the SaaS platform. • Continuous Improvement Culture – Built customer relationships by ongoing research to understand member and prospect companies, their purpose, direction, and priorities. Formed the Excavation and PreExcavation committees to foster members' involvement.
