I started the business my junior year when I saw the opportunity to start using the knowledge I had accumulated in university to revolutionize this niche market, and it was very successful. In fact, this business has been so successful that it has been able to not only support my living expenses and other hobbies, but pay for a significant portion of my tuition as well. The primary draw to it is its flexibility with respect to my educational workload. If worked full time, it generates large revenues, but when I need to focus on school, I am able to devote minimal time to the business without sacrificing my market position. This has been critical to maintaining focus on my studies and a long-term career, while being an enjoyable and exceptionally educational experience in the SCM industry.
