Cortica is a rapidly growing series-D healthcare innovation company with over 2,000 employees across the US. Cortica leverages emerging neuroscience insights, interdisciplinary therapies, virtual and on-site patient care, and its proprietary technology platform to advance health equity and clinical outcomes for neurodiverse pediatric patients.Joined at seed round, served on the founding leadership team, and built a high-performing talent organization and function from zero to one. Built in-house executive search capabilities, collaborated with CEO and CFO on executive compensation packages, and closed critical searches for C-level executives, various Heads and Directors.Rolled out hiring practices that enabled the company to scale the team by more than 10X in 3 years, including nearly 400 hires in 2020.Reported into two C-suite executives (President, CFO), attended board meetings and events, and served as the Head of Talent and interim Head of HR.Led strategic initiative to create Cortica’s vision, mission and core values.Implemented and scaled recruiting systems and infrastructure including Greenhouse Recruiting and Onboarding, Gem CRM, Grayscale SMS platform, Job Bias Decoder, DocuSign offers, CrossChq references and HireRight background checks.Developed employer branding strategy, ran team engagement surveys, built career pages (e.g., corporate career site, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Indeed career pages), drove employee advocacy and managed feedback loops with the CEO and key stakeholders.
