Deployed via Amazon Web Services.Analyzed technology trends in cloud computing architectures for impact on product strategy and definition. Simplified design through stateless operation in which persistence of data exists in either a relational database or a NOSQL database. Ensured reliable operation by the deployment of the loosely coupled architectural subsystems across multiple data-centers and communication via message queues using XML or JSON formatted data.Provided for flexible implementation by isolating vendor specific elements and API frameworks to enable quick adoption in additional environments.Created REST API and supporting documentation for the cloud service. Implemented REST interface and object resource model using Apache Tomcat and Jersey. Designed and implemented message queue services framework for communication with other tiers using both RabbitMQ and Amazon SQS. Designed and implemented zero-downtime strategy for all subsystem components.
