The main focus of this role was to develop and deploy tools and processes to optimize field inventory and decrease obsolescence costs across group of 7 business divisions in UK & Ireland. As part of this role I also managed relationships and shared processes with 3rd party suppliers of logistic solutions, arranged planning and execution of product launches, provided field-based education and assistance on inventory management tools and processes, managed a small team of operations analysts and supported Europe-wide strategy by managing and delivering value targets for field inventory.

I was responsible for driving sales of Coronary stents and associated products for territory in Herts, Essex and London. I developed and maintained excellent working relationships with all levels of cardiac catheter lab staff, including Consultant Cardiologists, at a number of hospitals both NHS and private sector, managed inventory levels for all customers on territory, provided regular training for cardiac catheter lab staff and gained a full working knowledge of clinical data relating to stents and their usage.

I worked closely with sales managers to obtain approval for contracts and identify opportunities for new business. I also Generated accurate and timely tender and PQQ submissions to NHS procurement departments, was nominated as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for pricing within Europe and loaded contracted prices into SAP in a timely and accurate manner.

I planned and delivered professional training courses, workshops, consultancy appointments and project management relating to Direct Debit and the full range of BACS products and services at various organisations premises, including banks, government departments, multinational companies, local taxation authorities and healthcare providers. I also analysed organisations processes and procedures relating to Direct Debit and the full range of BACS products and services, in order to identify areas for improvement, improve efficiency, eliminate risks and drive down costs. I also produced new training and consultancy products, from initial needs analysis research, creating promotional literature, running advertising campaigns to taking the product to the market place.

I was selected as part of a five person team created by the major UK banks and building societies responsible for managing, promoting, developing and increasing use of AUDDIS, a product which enables organizations to send paper Direct Debit instructions to Banks electronically. I was also responsible for migrating users to AUDDIS and Paperless Direct Debit. Duties included provision of a full testing service to prospective users, analysis of testing results, highlighting errors and assisting with corrections, assessing the impact and timely resolution of live service issues and communicating usage data to the banking industry.
