About David Millis

Pivoting into Renewable Energy / Climate Action from a wonderful career in Tech, most recently with 13 years at Splunk. I have extensive experience in researching and analyzing complex issues and then innovating elegant solutions while building consensus with people who don't always get along. I am an excellent public speaker, having developed and led hundreds of presentations and teaching workshops in venues all over the world; engaging and delighting diverse audiences is something I love. I have solid technical experience in developing and bringing products to market, as well as using Splunk to analyze very large time-series datasets to understand behaviors, risks, trends and possibilities. I am the nerd who loves people as much as technology.Since 2019 I have been accumulating experience and knowledge in the Renewable Energy / Climate Action space, including participating in the Colorado Renewable Energy Society (CRES) Policy Team as a volunteer policy advisor, where I have been learning how to develop and assess legislation and policies from Colorado Legislators, former PUC members and industry veterans.

Listed skills include Data Center, Solaris, Enterprise Software, Integration, and 33 others.
