Launched a high-visibility community-owned grocery store in a former food desert. Developed coalition across Southeast to strengthen cooperatively-owned business development opportunities.- Developed community-owned Renaissance Community Cooperative grocery store to address food desert in historically marginalized community.- Supported 30+ non-profit organizations through grant making, fundraising training, coaching and technical assistance.- Conceived, planned, and facilitated thought-leadership events across the South to build capacity in historically marginalized communities.- Managed technology and administered IT infrastructure and digital security protocols for the whole organization, provided training and support for partner organizations and grantees.

Led a full review of existing communication tools and procedures. Modernized organization’s communication infrastructure and practices.– Implemented a Constituent Relationship Management system allowing staff to track their interactions with partner organizations, activists, donors and grantors.– Redeveloped the organization’s website and bulk email system. Included substantial data cleaning of mailing lists, basic graphic design to match the relaunched website, and creating new communication templates.– Launched the organization’s first social media accounts on major platforms, developed communication templates for them.

I executed a complete redesign of the organization's website and online content, launched their first social media accounts, and redeveloped the bulk email system. During a high-profile court case I developed and oversaw a process for publishing press releases simultaneously in multiple languages. These were published to a multi-language press contact list resulting in extensive international media coverage.
