Monitors fire control panels and tests fire control and alarm systems as required.Maintains safety and security of the building and persons on site by performing facility safety inspections and testing including a monthly fire extinguisher and elevator fire service.Plans and executes fire drills and evacuations.Responds to emergencies by following appropriate emergency response proceedings and serves as the primary point of contact for First Responders (FDNY/NYPD) for fire, non-fire, medical emergencies, and elevator entrapments.Makes appropriate announcements and reports all incidents through the appropriate channels as required.Works closely with property management, security, and building engineering staff.Attend and conduct various meetings and training as needed.
