Vizada was acquired by Astrium, an EADS company and later re-branded under the Airbus name. Managed the Microsoft network environment of the Global Telecommunications division to include servers, desktops and applications. Responsible for the well being of email (MS Exchange, post.office), Database Systems (Oracle 7,8 and SQL Base), application servers (Peoplesoft financials, Vantive, ADP, HRizon), backups (Veritas) and user connectivity.Spare time projects included development of network management software to automate account creation and information synchronization with HR data. Developed front-end web app to query real-time satellite databases. Developed web-enabled user account admin tool for use by the support staff.

Maintained Novell 3.12 system.- COMSAT, Bethesda, MD - Retained as a technical lead for a Windows 3.1 to Windows 95 migration. - Ferris, Baker Watts, Washington DC - Assessed conversion issues for migration from mainframe environment to Microsoft environment. Filled in the gaps by authoring custom software, ...- Ameridata/GE Capitol, Columbia MD - Team lead for a large scale NT3.51/Office 95/Peoplesoft deployment. Assembled\built servers, traveled to field offices, managed onsite technical resources and performed network migration.

Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC), Washington, D.C. Contracted to the Telemedicine Project in Washington, DC. Developed World Wide Web information servers for use by Walter Reed as well as the North Atlantic Health Service Support Area (NAHSSA). Developed custom CGI Internet applications for secure remote content management and personnel directory assistance. Developed custom graphics, content and documentation for this site.
