The foundations for real estate began in 1995, when I purchased my first investment property, although my business mindset was formed years before - both from opening/operating my own business, and working in the corporate environment.I found that I was spending my free time looking into real estate in the area just for fun, which combined well with my thorough enjoyment of working with people – which is what lead to my decision to leave my corporate job and go into the field that seemed best to fit both my interests and my strengths.Our team has always worked with a simple mantra: do a very good job at what you do, and be enjoyable to work with. This has fortunately served my clients well.The focus for my team members and I is continually to bring a phenomenal level of service to an often-maligned field that rarely receives high marks.It is for these reasons that we am passionate about serving our clients and have formed The Nimick Team!

I am a proud member of Keller Williams Realty, where I focus on Chicago real estate both for clients looking to buy as well as sell real estate.For buyers, I offer my market knowledge of all Chicago neighborhoods to assist in their home search, utilizing the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and other sources to find properties and help them get the best deal possible. I discuss all aspects of buying, and the different types of properties available, including distressed properties such as short sales / foreclosures / Bank owned (REO) properties.For sellers, I rely on my experience and knowledge and pride myself on providing an expert comparative market analysis to determine maximum value. I share strategies about staging and decorating, detail current market activity surrounding their home, and discuss the correct approach to pricing for this market.Fortunately, the most enjoyable aspect of being a realtor is negotiating. My emphasis - whether working with buyers or sellers - is to get the best value for my clients.

I began my real estate career and worked for four years at this local brokerage, which was affiliated with GMAC at that time. I was fortunate enough to be honored with the Rookie of the Year award for my first full year in business, in an office of 250 agents.Each year, my volume increased by a minimum of 25%, and in 2003 and 2004 my volume of business ranked me in the top 5% of all Chicago realtors.

Ran business with $5M in annual sales, oversaw 35+ employees, drove sales and marketing, trained all levels of employees on an ongoing basis. Consistently received several awards for both sales and customer satisfaction.Fortunately, working at Enterprise gave me an outstanding working knowledge of the city of Chicago and suburbs, as a significant portion of time was spend actually traveling the neighborhoods. This fit perfectly with what is vital in being a realtor - knowing the areas that you serve, and knowing them well. I was able to start in real estate on day one with a thorough understanding of many of the areas throughout Chicagoland.
